Candle Tips

Wicks should be trimmed to 1/4" before each lighting. Trimming your wick helps prevent soot and ensures and even burn.

Your very first burn is important. Make sure you burn the candle long enough for a full wax pool to develop across the top of the container. This is typically 4 hours. If you don't do this, you will get what is known as tunnelling in the middle of the candle.

Burn no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. Stop using when 1/2" of soy is left in the container.

Never leave a candle unattended.

Extinguish with a wick dipper, a candle snuffer or a swift puff of air. Allow to cool before re-lighting.
